Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy explains how Cathy Hardy (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses your personal information when you use cathyhardy.co.uk. We are the “data controller” for this information. This policy is provided in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Booking and contact details: your name, email address and telephone number when you book or make an enquiry.
- Payment information: card and payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.
- Session information: where relevant to the service (for example notes relating to coaching or QHHT work, and QHHT recordings), which we treat as confidential.
- Website data: standard technical data such as your IP address, and cookies necessary for the website and shopping basket to function.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To take and fulfil your booking, and to contact you about it (contract).
- To send you joining details, session information and reminders (contract).
- To keep records for tax and accounting purposes (legal obligation).
- To respond to enquiries (legitimate interests).
- To send you marketing or newsletters only if you have opted in (consent) — you can withdraw this at any time.
Who we share it with
- Stripe, to process your payment.
- Zoom, where sessions are delivered online.
- Our accountant, for bookkeeping and tax.
- We do not sell your data to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and financial records for 6 years as required for tax purposes, and other personal data for no longer than necessary.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Please read this before booking. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
Events (fixed-date, e.g. the 8th August gatherings)
You may cancel and receive a full refund if you cancel more than 48 hours before the event start time. No refund is available within 48 hours of the event, as your place has been reserved and cannot be resold at short notice.
If we cancel the event, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
Courses (fixed-start, e.g. the Trance Channelling Course)
You may cancel and receive a full refund if you cancel more than 7 days before the course start date. Within 7 days of the start, no refund is available, as places are limited and materials are prepared in advance. Once a course has started, fees are non-refundable.
If we cancel the course, you will be offered an alternative or a full refund.
Meditation session packs (blocks of 4 or 6)
Session packs are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. You may use your sessions flexibly within that period and do not need to attend every week. If you wish to request a refund on any unused sessions, please contact us directly and we will deal with your request fairly.
QHHT and life coaching
These are arranged with you individually following your free consultation. If you need to cancel or rearrange, please give us as much notice as possible. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged, as the time has been reserved specifically for you.
Your legal cancellation rights
Some bookings are covered by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which can give a 14-day cancellation right for services bought online. Two points to be aware of:
Dated events and courses supplied on a specific date are generally exempt from this 14-day right.
Undated purchases, such as meditation session packs, may carry a 14-day cancellation right from the date of purchase. Where you ask us to begin providing the service within that period, this right may be affected. If in doubt, contact us and we will explain how it applies to your booking.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
How refunds are made
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe. Please allow 5–10 working days for the funds to appear. Refunds on Klarna purchases may take a little longer, as the instalment arrangement has to be unwound.
